I tried using the front 54" blade without an angling cylinder. It didn't work so well to control the snow wind-row. So glad I gave in and got this. Quick install: 2 pins in, one big pin out, hook up hoses, and go. Been having a blast plowing ever since. I never took the blade off all winter or all spring! The snowblower just sat in the garage. ShopGreenDealer delivered quickly and with the best price.
