John Deere 6.5 Bushel Bagger with Chute for 42-inch Deck

The hopper design provides efficient bagging performance, clean operation, and easy-to-empty bags.

Fits models: D100, D110, S120, D130, E100, E110, E110, E120, E130, E140, L100, L108, L110, L111, L118, LA100, LA105, LA110, LA115, LA120, LA125, LA135, S240

Following are some of the key features and benefits:
  • Two durable bags have a generous, 6-1/2-bu capacity lift out for emptying and are easy to reinstall.
  • Efficient lower chute (rear bagger) provides smooth flow of material to reduce chance of plugging; standard mower blades can be used for bagging, high-lift blades are available for very difficult bagging conditions.
  • Air exhaust duct directs air from the hopper back and toward the ground for clean operation.
  • Convenient bungee-cord fastener makes opening and closing the hopper easy.
  • It is easy to install and remove the hopper, and no tools are required after the initial installation; pins and spring clips hold the hopper and chute in place, and there is nothing left to interfere with other attachments when removed.
  • Loose-knit bags allow more air to flow through and provide complete bag filling in wet and heavy grass conditions.
Replaces BG20015 and BM22897

42 inch Bagger
Easy to assemble and does its job. Have a Sears bagger which has a solid bucket and adds weight vs the J Deer. Hope it has the longevity!

Excellent addition.
The bagger was easy to assemble - and I am not particularly skilled in mechanics. Anybody can put it up in less than 1 hour. It is also reasonably well constructed. Once installed, it does what it is supposed to do. Beware that if your grass is very thick and relatively long, the chute will plug. It is not hard to unplug, but it quickly becomes very annoying. With "normal" grass, however, it works beautifully. You will be amazed at how much grass it picks up. Also, it works nicely as a leave picker in the fall. Lastly, since there is no longer any side discharge, the pattern used for cutting becomes irrelevant - you don't have to worry about leaving rows of discharged grass. I absolutely would buy this bagger again.
