JOHN DEERE 48" & 54" STRIPING KIT LA100 X300 X500

This item is a Grass Groomer Lawn Striping Kit that will fit the 48" and 54" decks on the LA100, X300 and X500 series lawn tractors. It's inherent characteristics of flexibility, durability, and non-weight bearing design, make it the perfect solution for pattern mowing. Drilling four holes is required on certain decks. The detailed installation instructions will guide you in hole location and how to use the template.

For Best results mowing height should be set at a minimum of 2 inches.
If you mow your grass short the effect of the striping will be very minimal. If you are mowing your grass above 2 inches and are not getting a satisfactory result, make sure the brush is low enough to come in contact with the ground at your typical cutting height. The brush will need to force the grass to bend over to the ground surface. Simply brushing the tops of the blades of grass with the bristles of the brush will not acheive the desired results.
